Message	but my 17" 350Z rims take 245/40 and 235/40 and the dealers around here just sneer when I ask if they'll match pricing... Actually what they said last time I asked was something about having to pay their workers insurance etc. Beside that an autocross buddy is a distributor for TR - there is no way the local shops can come anywhere close on price. I buy truck tires at the local shop but not when they basically double the price. Call me a cold hearted SOB - but I go through a set every year and I don't make enough to afford my Z if I pay dealer price for rubber. It sucks but globalization and internet shopping is affecting every business and margins for "high end" products are not sacred.
